Our Junior Entrepreneurs in rang a 5 & 6 have been working very hard over the last number of months on starting a business in their classroom. They have presented to our very own Dragon's Den panel, worked on a business plan, researched different production materials and methods, organised display and analysed finances. Each pupil has been encouraged to gain a greater understanding of life in the real world. They have learned how to think like entrepreneurs. Every pupil got the opportunity to uncover their own strengths and play a key role in one of five teams - Finance, Marketing & Technology, Design & Production, Sales and Communication.
We are very grateful to past pupil Pierce McKevitt who took time from his busy college life and engaged the pupils in a very interesting presentation about becoming an entrepreneur. Pierce displayed these talents from a very young age in our school. Maith thú Pierce!
