Today 5th/6th class had the opportunity to present their experiment " Branded vs Unbranded: better for your budget but is it better for your health?"
They had to present to 3 different judges, aswell as children and teachers from other schools.
Some other highlights from today include:
- seeing two shows: Through the Cosmos 3D and Mark the Science Guy Sports Tech.
- viewing experiments from different primary and secondary schools, including Bush.
- taking part in fun activities and experiments set up by STEM businesses and organisations like escaping the vault, lying on a bed of nails and making different frequencies and noises.
- Being interviewed by TG4 and RTÉ!!
It was such a fun and jam packed day and hopefully the children will be inspired by STEM into the future.
